Özet: Effective time management is important today. Internet is used in various areas from shopping to watching television with the expansion of the Internet. Large firms, as well as small and medium-sized companies now prefer to run their own servers at their own enterprises. The servers are used for advertising, online sales, customer subscription and similar services. On the other hand, many of the universities which have limited IT budget cannot easily obtain funds for servers and equipped server room. Low cost monitoring tools are needed for monitoring server room, informing system manager, administrator and to intervenewhen necessary. Since commercialhardwarehas standard features and provide limited opportunity as a result of being cheap, developing a low cost server room monitoring and control device becomes a necessity. In this study, a low cost real time device that is also adaptable is developed for system room monitoring and controlling. Furthermore, web based interface is developed for monitoring and editing the system. The device measures the parameters of temperature, humidity and flammable gas. The device gives audible warning and makes call to inform up to eight people when the measurements are over values set before.
