Özet: We are familiar with use of online courses at the Faculty of Informatics and Management of the University of Hradec Kralove in almost all of the tought subjects. There were a few versions of WebCT used earlier and since last year (2011) we have been working with Black Board. One is trying to compare the work with the cources from both points of view, the teacher's and students' one.The virtual learning environment WebCT is not only the place where Study materials (including listening files with transcription), Syllabus, Calendar, Glossary (i.e. dictionary with pronunciation with both written and sound forms) and Search are displayed. There is no discussion that finding all the sources at one place is effective. But more important is to know whether students understand well what they study, if they are able to apply the knowledge without making mistakes, and if a mistake occurs why it was made and how to avoid it next time. In short, feedback is inseparable part of any learning process.
