Özet: The aim goal of remote sensing images treatment is to extract the maximum information of interest to the future applications, and to remove anything that is superfluous. We use in this work data obtained from the LANDSAT 7 TM channels which the diversity provides the user a multitude of information manipulate (7 spectral bands). Moreover LANDSAT data have the advantage of bring out the outlines and spatial details. We have for this study two Landsat 7 TM scenes: • A scene covering the north-eastern Algeria contains the north of Setif, • A scene covering the north-eastern Algeria contains southern Setif. Both images were acquired with a pre-treatment level 1 which corresponds to a radiometric correction of defects due to differences in sensitivity between the detectors and geometric correction of internal distortions due to shooting conditions: altitude variation of the satellite, panning, rotation and curvature of the earth, etc ...These images are geo referenced and cover a large area (185km x 185km).
