Özet: The resistance furnaces represent the most wide spread solution in the semi-products heat treatments. The correct construction of the masonry influence: thermal losses, power consumption, furnace heating time, the quality of thermal processing, operation time, weight, overall size and cost of the furnace. To achieve the thermal calculation of a resistance furnace, it is necessary to evaluate the heat flow rate transmitted through the masonry. This paper presents a Java program for computing the heat flow rate transmitted through the masonry of resistance furnaces. The program allows, also, the numerical computation of the resistance furnaces masonry.
