Özet: In this study, the computer controlled cold-hot therapy device with thermoelectric module has been manufactured. This device is used in order to balance temperature of body in case of injuring, fever etc. Cold and hot therapy operations have been occurred according to feeding voltage and changing of feeding polarity of thermoelectric modules. In the therapy device, to measure the temperature via the computer, PIC18F4550 microcontrollers and USB port are used. AD595AQ Monolithic Thermocouple Amplifiers have been used for transferring data of K type temperature sensors to microprocessor. Moreover, a relay circuit has been manufactured for the controlling of system components. A control interface has been prepared with the VisualBASIC6.0 programming language for the purpose of screening of temperature data, saving of the temperature data and controlling of therapy device via the computer. All of the system components are assembled on a device box suitably. The therapy device has been tested by using USB connection and user interface and it is controlled with the computer. As a result, our study has shown that the obtained results from the computer controlled cold-hot therapy device with thermoelectric module are completely agreement with the literature results.
