Özet: The article illustrates a part of the huge research about the importance of using SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for developing the university web pages. One of the effective ways to get foreign students to study at the university is using easily accessed university web pages. For detailed information about the processes of searching university web pages questionnaire research was done. It was targeted to students who had study abroad experiences. The first part of this article contains main information about the research and research methodology. The second part contains the results of the questionnaires that were collected from students who attend the paid study programs. It is the important group of students for each university. It can be a significant part of university income. In conclusion, main results of this part of the research are summarised.
