Özet: This paper refers to the process of searching international universities by students who want to study abroad. The main aim is to illustrate the way of searching information about universities by a potential international student. The article shows responses from the questionnaire in graphs and tables. Represented information is a part of international university optimization research in the University of Hradec Kralove. Data is divided into two parts because of marketing needs. First group is composed of students who pay tuition by themselves. Students in second group are somehow financially supported. Results can be used for content and search engine optimization of university websites to attract more international students.
