Özet: Toros Cedar is a remarkable tree species as being in afforestation works in Turkey. In afforestation projects, the prediction about growth of trees is important. In this study, the diameter growth of trees is tried to forecast using artificial neural networks (ANN) and benefitting from the different competition indexes of trees and weed stand density. In models, competition index and density of weed stand are modeled as inputs, and diameter growth is modeled as output. As a result, these inputs significantly affect the growth of the trees.
