Özet: Because economy is a cybernetic system, its approach is complex and it is necessary to consider all principal factors, but also the factors leading to the deviation of the national economy. Sovereign debt crisis is one of the factors leading to the disruption of the national economy. This paper will treat several specific objectives: the theoretical treatment of cybernetics, of mathematical software applications and their use in approaching of sovereign debt crisis, presenting the methods implemented by the software in quantitative measurement of sovereign debt crisis, presenting some empirical results and the study conclusions. The methods in quantitative analysis of sovereign debt crisis are those of the advanced data analysis, meaning those based on binary search trees etc. Used software applications are those taking into account the methods used in analysis, these being: MATLAB, SAS, Access, Eviews, SPSS, etc.
