Özet: Companies engaged in employing skills-based workers and universities which teach via distance education carry out electronics-based exams (‘e-exams’). The use of e-exams will continuously increase as computers and softwares spread to all parts of our lives. E-exams, especially when they are skills-based, have a number of advantages. The movements of objects, time-limited questions and interactive graphical use cannot be carried out using paper-based exams. In skills-based exams, different characteristics of people such as memory, and psychomotor and spatial awareness are evaluated. The computer world provides great flexibility for assessing these characteristics. In this paper, a flexible e-exam framework is studied in consideration of the traditional and skills-based tests that can be used in an integrated manner. In addition to this, an air traffic controller selection system is developed using the e-exam framework developed in this study.
