Özet: Optimization of induction mass heating process aims to increase the products quality and production costs reduction. Preliminary surveys shown that the conventional temperature control (on/off or P, I, D, PI and PID algorithms) can not achieve a satisfactory heating time and leads to overheating and material loss. In this work we proposed a numerical control system based on Least Mean Square algorithm for mass heating process of steel workpieces. This control system allows the monitoring of main energetically parameters of heating installation, productivity and display of temperatures in the cooling system, emergency messages and various statistics.
