Özet: Nowadays, there are abundant resources for foreign language teaching. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) enable teachers to use authentic materials and at the same time satisfy their students’ learning needs. The Faculty of Informatics and Management (FIM), University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic is currently working on an ESF project, whose mission is to create a new system of domestic as well as international internships for students of Management of Travel and Tourism. This poster presentation aims to explain how language teachers at FIM, in close cooperation with their colleagues who are experts in the field of travel and tourism, use ICT in order to prepare their students for internships at foreign partner institutions. As an example, the topic of geoparks and geology will be used because in 2012 FIM provides its students with four pilot internship places in two European geoparks. This presentation will discuss the above mentioned project and highlight its benefits and practical consequences for teaching at FIM.
