The Development of Applications Using Computer Image Steganography Algorithm

Özet: Steganography algorithm is used to hide data inside an image. In using the steganography algorithm, two important steps are needed. There are encoding the data inside an image and decoding the data from the image. The purposes of hiding the data inside the image are to ensure privacy and to protect the data from third parties. Using the computer image steganography algorithm, various applications can be developed. This paper demonstrates three applications that have been developed based on the algorithm. There are SIS (Steganography Imaging System), PRIS (Police Report Imaging System) and MoBiSiS (Mobile Steganography Imaging System). The quality of the stego images that contain the data are tested using PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) value. Based on the PSNR value, the results are good and the stego images still maintain its quality for any distortion.
