Özet: In Wireless Sensor Networks the data generating from sensing nodes is as crucial as collecting data from different location of the network. The data observed by different nodes must be relayed safely over intermediate nodes to the base station. In this paper, the effects of sleep mode on energy dissipation in wireless sensor ad hoc networks is investigated. Constructed a Linear Programming (LP) that jointly captures data routing and energy dissipation. The results indicated that the number of sleep nodes increases, the lifetime of nodes decreases. Despite the existence of sleep nodes, it can be observed clearly the positive effect of high number of nodes on lifetime.
