Özet: VANET is a subset of MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks) that integrates multiple ad-hoc networking technologies to create simple and effective communication between vehicles on dynamic mobility. VANET uses moving cars as nodes in a network to create a mobile network. A typical VANET consists of vehicles and access points along the road. Vehicles move on the roads sharing information between themselves and with the Internet through the access points. In VANET, the routing protocols can be classified into two main categories: topology based routing protocols and position based routing protocols. In the first part of this paper we will present the main routing protocols from each category and we will try to identify the security issues related to each of them. In the second part we will examine the possible ways to improve their security.
