Özet: Attackers consider end users as a weakest link in security chain. Client Honeypot is a new approach and has emerged to overcome the weakness of traditional server honeypots. A client honeypot is an active system that examines and finds malicious web sites on the Internet. The main concept behind the client honeypot is imitating the actions and passing a series of steps that a common user browser takes while visiting websites. An malicious website however can evade client honeypot in situations where human interaction is required to trigger a malicious content delivery. If a client honeypot fails to correctly identify a CAPTCHA, malicious content is not delivered to the honeypot and websites is inaccurately identified as benign. This paper aims to design a new approach to solve this issue using machine learning and pattern recognition techniques.
