Özet: The use of learning technologies in ELT is an ongoing process of developmental strategies in the mastry of Information and Communication Technologies competence. In the Algerian universities, however, the LMD reform makes it a consequent imperative to follow in the steps of the Google generation. However, technology-based strategies require the necessary means for embedding learning technologies in ELT.The basis of such an embedment in Algeria should first create an awareness and acknowledgement of the ideas and theories of others and, then, readapt the means for their specific usage locally and nationally.In this paper, I shall propose a personal reflection on how to work with the professional practice on technology-based ELT. I would propose the development of both people and educational processes and systems to understand the emergent need of technology methods for teaching.I would, then, reflect on some of my personal practices in order to help develop a better understanding of a technology-based practice in ELT built on equal opportunities at both institutional and educational levels in order to encourage the authenticity of the teaching and learning practice.
