Özet: This study aims to investigate the relation between thinking styles and innovation attraction among higher education students. The survey method is descriptive-correlative and the sample includes 90 persons of M.A students of Islamic Azad University, Kermanshah branch in 2012 academic year. Sampling method is accidental – category and data collecting tools contains thinking styles questionnaires of “Sternberg Wagner” as well as certain questionnaire of “innovation attraction”. Survey results in form of (Pearson correlation and multiple regressions) showed that legislative, executive, judicial, minor prospective introspection and bounteous styles have a positive and significant relation with innovation attraction and conservative thinking style has a negative and significant relation with innovation attraction. The majority of positive correlation was related to bounteous thinking style (./451) and the majority of negative correlation was related to conservative thinking style ( -./214).
