Özet: In a rapidly changing crime situation in the country and a qualitative change in crime requires the adoption of comprehensive measures aimed at establishing a reliable rule of law in the country, the protection of life, health, property, security of society and the state from criminal attacks. Implementation in practice the law enforcement agencies of modern scientific achievements will successfully confront crime. The hypothesis of the study is that the establishment of the problems, identify trends, and develop an integrated model of optimal use of information technology will increase the effectiveness of the fight against crime. To obtain the most comprehensive information were used: statistical data, the study materials of criminal cases, the results of the interview. The analysis shows that information technology is currently used mostly subjects of criminal procedure for the creation of various information databases, and text documents. Results of the study suggest that the use of information technology in the fight against crime and historically formed a priority of improving information security is the widespread deployment and use of modern information technology.
