Özet: Architectural design education is an educational model which focuses on design studio reinforced by theoretical classes. Design studio training, which covers designing, forming and creativity, begins with basic design classes and continues with architectural project courses. During this period, in which input of information adds up cumulatively, areas of knowledge that provide input to design as design criteria increase. The data areas, the creative processes and design environment that students of different years use differentiate from each other. In particular, by the effect of development and changes in information and communication technologies students are generating their desings at computer environment recently. In this study, basically it was aimed to determine what kind of changes do exist in creative design process due to changes in design environment(CAD).Accordingly, the aim was to observe information the students were using as criteria in their designs during the creative process and the informational areas they were using during designing when they were given the same design subject. Thus, it was our aim to determine the change in creative knowledge awareness during the computer aided architectural design process.
