Özet: Article focuses on the question of optimization diplomatic service`s activity in conditions of modern international relations and information technologies. The author underlines that a highly professional and well organized diplomatic service - the most important condition for the successful implementation of the state's functions, solving policy challenges in the international arena. Currently, foreign ministries developed a holistic planning of service. It provides for the use of the most advanced information and computer technology. The dynamic development of the global information field and the wide application of information technology makes it relevant to the development and adoption the basic principles of international information law. Changes in management, organization, forms and methods of the diplomatic structures caused by certain modification of the system of international relations and strengthening the influence of new information technologies, increasing the share of multilateral diplomatic activities of the relevant institutions. That naturally puts on the agenda the task of strengthening the scientific basis of diplomacy and diplomatic service.
