Özet: In this study, opening-closing movement of the hand was recorded at the same time by a camera (with 50 frame/second) and hand-held two-channel EMG amplifier (with 1000 samples/second). The beginning and the end of the image frames (or angle measurements) and related EMG strength (or EMG samples) are monitored in a novel way. Synchronization of two different sensors is accomplished in an acceptable manner. Angle values of the hand movement were determined by the proposed image processing approach. The proposed image processing method is more economical and does not require too much pre-processing computation and hardware resources. Some of the feature vectors extracted from signal sEMG were visually compared with the values of joint angle. Required computational structure and data sets are come into existence for obtaining / predicting hand speed (angle estimation) from measured sEMG signals.
