Özet: Increased attention to the science and practice issues of the competence approach as a pedagogical phenomenon, and professional competence of teachers was necessary to study the process of formation of the intellectual competence of future teachers' training. Study and analysis of the literature on the issue of professional competence of future specialists, suggest that the nature and content of this concept is the subject of disagreement between psychologists, physiologists, and practitioners. The preparation of future teachers allows students to master the teaching process at school and creates quality educational-oriented activities.Objective of the research is usage of pedagogical tasks in the process of formation of the intellectual competence of the future primary school teachers.Methods used in the research are: theoretical (theoretical study of the problem, analysis of psychological, educational, scientific and methodological literature), empirical (experimental work, observation, questionnaires, rating, and self-esteem of students), and methods of mathematical statistics.
