Özet: Power quality is one of major concerns in the present era. It has become imported especially, with the introduction of sophisticated devices whose performance is very sensitive to the quality, and thus to find and choose the most suitable solution either economically or technically. The main problems of the power quality like voltage sags/swells in low voltage distribution systems and on the transmission side due to sensitive loads, the terminology used for the compensation devices is different. This paper proposes a mitigation of disturbance voltage distribution system using an effective series compensator (DVR). The Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is fast, flexible and efficient solution to power quality problems (voltage sag/swell problems), which installed (DVR) between the supply and a sensitive load, should inject voltage and active power from DVR to the distribution system during of voltage default.
