Özet: A method of testing using modern technologies has become a part of teaching and evaluation in different types of schools. The paper introduces the positives and negatives of computer-based testing, specifically for humanities-oriented fields and subjects. A constituent part of the paper is a discussion about issues relating to administrative processing of questions, test security, consistency, reliability and evaluating the effectiveness of testing. Psychological and ethical aspects of the chosen topic are also mentioned.
