Özet: The traditional way of identifying the ATM customers through card and pin verification causes many security problems, such problems of made researchers look for new solutions for identifying users so that that the new solutions can take a place of credit cards. One of the solutions is making use of biometric sensors which is developing very fast. Today the technology of manufacturing biometric sensors and specially finger print sensors and matching and recognizing algorithms of finger print are improving. In this paper designing and manufacturing of ATM that is equipped with fingerprint sensor and GSM modem for authentication customers in the banking system is presented. This ATM has developed in R&D department of Iranian Telecommunication Manufacturing Company (ITMC). Some of the advantages of this machine are more security, ease of use and chipper price in comparison with another machines.
