E technology in high education for realistic modeling of crisis situations

Özet: Problem Statement: We often can’t predict when a crisis will occur. But we can prepare our students to deal with crisis situations. When disaster strikes, we need our team to keep a cool head and deal with the situation at hand. In this paper we present the difference between a simple and a training simulator emergency. Purpose of Study: Our “E” technology for realistic modeling of crisis situations create an incredibly realistic scenario to train, test and challenge the students. Through the crisis simulator, the students will learn to stay focused and make rational decisions under pressure, developing skills to deal with stress, chaos and confusion. Methods: The crisis simulator works on the same principles – managing critical events in a safe and controlled environment. We can prepare for the unexpected, practice new skills and procedures and then evaluate and learn how our students behave under pressure. For training of students we use different courses and strategies for crisis situations. Findings and Results: Effective training simulator consists of lowering real time response, saving human and material resources, low cost price of company staff training costs. The simulator is equipped with a mode of crisis management that can be used in cases of forest fires, oil on water pollution, dangerous goods accidents, search and rescue operations or naval air accidents, acts of terrorism. This module serves to exercise managerial level exchange of documents between institutions / agencies that manage such crises. All data obtained are shown graphically in real-time virtual- 3-D visualization of exercises and response of exercises. Conclusions and Recommendations:The emergency simulator provides the exercise participants with interactive information environment based on the mathematical modeling of an oil spill interacting with surroundings and combat facilities. The system also includes information-collecting facilities for the assessment of the participants’ performance. The ultimate goal of training on this simulator is to prepare human resources properly and quickly using "E" technologies to obtain quality in the higher education . The students can training or learn courses attendants in choosing the best strategies in a given crisis situation, which is an informational high entropy, multi-tasking, fast changing environment.
