Özet: This paper is focused to REA (Resource, Events, Agents) key entities and relationship identification. REA ontology is ontology based on accounting and therefore it has a big potential to provide a solid basis of the accounting information systems. We can create a basic structure of the extended UML profile forming the basic of the visual representation of the domain-specific model (DSM).In the first part the paper explains the basis of the REA ontology and its connection to the DSM. It also provides some typical possible of use of the information system based on REA. The second part is focused to identify the basic elements that are the necessary basis to build a complete model in UML using as a framework to build an information system. It shows the relationship between these elements as well. The last part of the paper describes the structure and its division of REA enterprise ontology, explains the usage of selected semantic abstractions in the model and discusses restrictions of individual entities. These restrictions form the basic validation of the syntactic correctness of the model.
