Özet: Nowadays, ICTs play a very important role in the actual education, offering solutions for facing new and interesting challenges. In this respect, teachers could include ICTs to develop the students’ knowledge and understanding related to various areas, especially for those based on demonstration and experimenting. On the other hand, ICTs represent major instruments for teaching and learning Science topics, having important implications on the increasing of the effectiveness of learning and teaching processes, but also on the student’s participation and involvement in the classroom. In the area of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, ICTs offer the possibility to design virtual experiments as feasible tools with the view to facilitate the students on the process of experimentation, but also on understanding related “Nano” processes or issues.The paper presents a series of ICT resources gathered under the form of a Virtual Laboratory, designed in the frame of the European LLP KA3-ICT project: [6]. The Virtual Lab consists of different sections (Experiments Room, Podcasting Room, Repository, Blog, Glossary, Competition Room etc.) and includes “Nano” videoclips, teacher’s and student’s guides, assessment grides, related Internet resources, feedback facilities. The project partnership selected several “Nano” topics of interest that cover the actual curriculum, with the view to offer a different form of presentation that can have important results on developing the students’ knowledge, but also on raising their motivation to learn.
