Özet: Location-based Service (LBS) is one of the most important technology for mobile robots. GPS system is used for localization of outdoor activities, but it cannot use in buildings, therefore alternative indoor localization system is highly required in many applications. Wi-Fi is a popular technology as Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and there are many well-deployed infrastructures. Thus, Wi-Fi can be used for indoor LBS due to easy access, and cost efficiency. Currently many wireless devices use 2.4GHz unlicensed band such as Wi-Fi, wireless mouses and keyboards with Bluetooth, and intelligent home-network with ZigBee. However, coexistence of 2.4GHz frequency used devices in simultaneous condition brings out significant signal inteference, and it causes decrease of systems’s communication performance and accuracy of LBS. In this paper, we analyze a different performance of Wi-Fi based localization systems under minimized and heavy RF interferences using spectrum analyzer.
