Özet: The paper illustrates the research “Business Requirements for Information Systems” with the focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The first part of the paper describes the main aspects and aims of the research. The second part of the paper describes the analysis of main barriers of implementation of the CRM in the small and medium-size companies. These companies, which have participated on the research, are operating in the Czech Republic. The CRM is technology is used mainly by large companies to help them with customisation of their services and customer care. The aim of the research is to describe and analyse the main barriers of using the CRM systems. The reasons, why small and medium-sized companies are afraid of using the CRM systems, are described, too. The barriers of implementation of the CRM are taken from the questionnaire responses. Obtained results are presented and described in tables. At the end of the paper are listed the main results of the analysis.
