Özet: After the publication of the pixel-sieve cryptographic primitive in the area of secret sharing visual cryptographic methods, several authors picked up the idea and proposed enhancements and /ore use of the method. Corroborating the other authors findings and proposals with some personal results during the testing and developing the method some cryptographic key management issues were discovered.The first problem regarding the key used to encrypt the informations refers to the ratio between the black and white pixels. If the number of a certain color (eg. black) of the key, is considerably higher than the number of the another color one of the shares will get more useful information so there is a high risk to correctly interpret the image from the share containing more useful pixels. The solution proposed to solve this issue uses a counter and a swap between the shares.The second proposal refers to the length of the key. To generate a longer key, hence a better encryption, we introduce a XOR operation doubled with cyclical key-shifting.
