Özet: The main purpose of this research was to determine the effects of the active learning model on students. The subjects were 40 teacher candidates from computer and teaching technology department who were enrolled in the course of �??New Instructional Methods�?� at Near East University in TRNC. A queationnaires were used to collect the data. The data was analyzed by using frequencies and percentile techniques. The finding revealed that there was a positive effect of avtive learning atmosphere on students.
