Özet: The aim of the study is to investigate how children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) follow movements in a video and to measure their motion perception, ability to predict the continuation of the movement and social perception. Nine children with ASD and 11 typically developing children (as a reference point) participated. To collect data, an eye-tracking system was used while participants watched the video of a moving and speaking child. According to the results, children with ASD follow singular motion although there is deficiency on their motion perception and they have serious deficiency on their social perception. As a conclusion, such results should be used to reveal cognitive and perceptual models of children with ASD for the special education.
