Özet: As an important source of teacher development, mentorship is the professional support from the experienced ones to the novice. This study aims to discover factors that affect mentorship process at school negatively. Results in this study reveal that smokers and non-smokers have low communication; there is lack of knowledge sharing culture and self-confidence among teachers; teachers do not greet teachers from a different union. They also complain about competition, conflicts, lack of sharing professional knowledge among teachers, they are are unwilling to give exams. They also claim that their administrators are incompetent to carry out their administrative duties. On the other hand, administrators remarked that there is low communication, competition, sincerity problems among teachers, which influence mentorship process at school negatively.
