Özet: Salmon production in pools in Ermenek Region has become an important business field. With going into full capacity of operation of Ermenek Dam and Hydroelectric Plant, salmon production done both on the dam lake and pools in the region will come to a degree that can supply Turkey’s need. This study presents the socio – economic structure, faced financial problems and solution offers for current salmon producing facilities. The general aim of the study is to analyze of financial aspects of salmon producing facilities and search of their contributions to the region’s economy. Following these aims, face to face interviews have been made and their structures, problems and contributions to the region’s economy have been examined.
