Özet: As rural tourism, one of alternative types of tourism, is a type of tourism based both on rural areas and on natural resources, this tourism typeenables protecting the natural environment, makes significant contributions for sustainable tourism, offers additional income opportunity tothe people living there as well as economic development of the region. Give these benefits, the importance of rural tourism in our countryis increasing with each passing day. Hunting tourism in rural tourism are activities that it aims to contribute to the country’s tourism and thenational economy in terms of recreational and tourist and hunting and wildlife resources be made available to local and foreign hunters undercontrol. In other words, hunting tourism is a kind of tourism that responsive to needs of people. Hunting tourism activities in our country arecarried out in rural areas. These activities constitute a source of income to local people living in rural areas. Sources of income are contributionsfrom hunting and employment field created for local people. In this study, it is aimed that examination of the effects on rural development andthe importance of hunting tourism in terms of rural tourism.
