Özet: SUMMARY AIM: Aim of this study is to examine the academic ethical values of academics working in the field of speech and language therapy. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The pattern of this study was designed as a screening model. The scale used in the research “Academic Ethical Values Scale” was developed by Oğuzhan Sevim in 2014, and its validity, reliability and stability measurements were made. The coefficients are 0.864, 0.849 and 0.8132 respectively. It measures academic ethical values and also it is divided into subcategories as ‘scientific ethical values, ethical values for co-workers, values for the society and institutions were studied, values for the teaching process and colleagues. Values in each category are labelled “low sensitivity, undecided-medium sensitivity, high sensitivity” and evaluation has been made according to these ranges. In this research, 24 academicians participated in the study. The assessment tool was delivered to academics working in the field of speech and language therapy by making a Google survey. The obtained data were collected in the common pool via the Google questionnaire with the answers of academicians. The responses were evaluated independently by SPSS 20.0 by the blinding analyzer. RESULTS: As a result of the data obtained, the academic ethical values of the participants were examined. According to the analyzed data, academics working in the field of speech and language therapy were found in the range of academic ethics values (high sensitivity) (171-250, 87.5%). (54.2%), high sensitivity for co- workers (75.0%) and institutional values (58.3%) and high sensitivity for scientific research values (88.0%). When comparing the sub-categories, the finding of the highest value sensitivity belonging to ethical values for the teaching process was obtained. CONCLUSION: Academicians working in the field of speech and language therapy have high sensitivity on academic ethical values. When the sub-dimensions of the scale were examined, it was revealed that the values for the teaching process, ethical values for the society, ethical values for the co-workers, values for the institution studied, values for scientific research were highly sensitive.
