Özet: The Brain Awareness Week, which aims to increase awareness about brain health, has been celebrated worldwide since 1996. In our university since 1999, we spend different activities emphasizing the importance of brain health. Life-long preventive measures starting in the early stages of life may prevent the development of brain and related diseases. Health workers play an important role in the adoption and implementation of these measures throughout the society. This year we had two different activities with our two students during the week of brain awareness. At the patient information booth that we opened at the outpatient clinic of our hospital, we gave information to the outpatients in the outpatient clinic to protect their brain health and in our other activity, we provided training on brain and brain health to primary school students in a special college. In this way, we have contributed both to the week of brain awareness and to the clinical education of our students. Early clinical contact is important for medical school students to recognize their professional responsibilities and to meet with professionalism. From this point of view, our project has reached a conclusion that mutual gains are high.
