Özet: The aim of this study is to reveal the need for a physical education teacher especially for disabled students in Turkey. The fact that physical education teachers work in Special Education Schools, which graduate from Physical Education and Sports Teaching programs in various universities in our country, brings some problems. One of these problems is that Physical Education teachers get only one lesson intended for disabled people before graduating from university. One of these problems is that Physical Education teachers get only one lesson for disabled people before graduating from university. It is thought that the “Adapted Physical Education and Sport” course taken by the candidates of Physical Education Teachers in a single period is not sufficient to recognize the target group. In this study, which is a systematic compilation product, samples and data from the studies conducted in different parts of the world were determined to determine the problem situation. The collected data were analyzed according to the PRISMA flow chart. As a result, it is thought that the teachers graduated from Physical Education and Sports Teaching programs in higher education levels in our country are not fully sufficient for individuals with disabilities. In this regard, it should be ensured that Physical Education and Sports Teaching Programs for the Disabled should be expanded in other universities and only graduates of this programs should be employed in Special Education Schools.
