Özet: ku SUMMARY Advice is a tool that is used in every area of life with the aim of correcting mistakes, correcting evils and correcting the wrongdoings of people. One of the areas in which advice is used is literature. In this study, the advices in the poems of two important poets of classical Kurdish literature were compared. One of these poets is Melaye Cizîrî, who for the first time in the history of Kurdish classical literature has written an full dîwan and is the pioneer of Kurdish classical literature. The other is Ehmedê Xanî, who emerged after the Melayê Cizîrî and with him became one of the two oldest pillars of classical Kurdish literature. The aim of this study is to identify the common and different points of their advice through the method of comparison in the poems of Mela and Xani. This study first focuses on the concept of advice and its application in the literature. Later, after a short explanation of the dîvan of Mela and Xanî, the advice in their poems was collected under three headings: The common advice in the poems of both poets, the advice contained only in Mela's poems and only in Xani's poems. Finally, a conclusion has been prepared based on the knowledge of these sections. As a result, it has been determined that besides being a poet, Mela and Xanî, who were also scholars, included advice in their poems. While Mela mostly gives advice about the individual inner world of the human being, Xanî gives advice both on the individual inner world of the human being and on daily world affairs and social problems.
