Özet: Within the scope of this study, worldwide developments, projects and future plans of morphing technologies in aviation applications were examined. The aerodynamic, structural and material design approaches of the projects examined are looked at from a close perspective. Thanks to this technology, the aircraft, which is compatible with multiple missions, provides the desired configuration; While attracting attention to the developments in the aviation sector by bringing advantages such as range increase, fuel saving and low carbon emission, it will also open the door to different technologies. During the research, the advantages and disadvantages of morphing aircraft compared to fixed wing aircraft were discussed.
