Özet: In order to sustain industrialization in the textile industry and protect the environment, a new product range with high added value was developed by adding different functional properties (absorbing bad odors, preventing fungus and bacteria formation) to the towel, which is the final product obtained by conventional method within the enterprise, with microcapsule technology. Microcapsulation technology is one step ahead of other methods in terms of its environmental and economic advantages. In the study; Extracts of natural extracts (honey and propolis) were taken and coated with a wall material (gelatin and gum arabic), micro and nano-sized capsules were obtained and particle sizes were visualized under an optical microscope. UV-VIS transfer of the obtained capsules to towel and bathrobe was carried out according to the impregnation method. SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) images were taken to observe the homogeneous distribution of the capsule applied to the towel on the fabric. Washing tests were performed on the towel fabric and the washing resistance of the capsules was improved.
