Özet: Welding machines are one of the most important application areas of power electronics. Controlling the fast dynamics of these machines while keeping the efficiency high is a challenging task. Several topologies and control methods have been proposed in the literature. This paper presents a modular structure for a 9.6 kW welding inverter. The design process is explained in detail. Simulation and experimental results are provided to show that the proposed system can be a viable solution.
