Özet: Most of the republics that gained their independences after dissolution of the Soviet Union, have formed the Commonwealth of Independent States. While maintaining the previous period relations on the one hand, the CIS countries have entered into a quest to improve their relations with the third countries on the other hand. In this regard, developed relations particularly with the European Union indicate a new period for these economies. In this study, the external economic relations of Turkish Republics are discussed in the changing conjuncture. The Turkish Republics are the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States as well. Therefore, the establishment purpose of the CIS and the relations between Turkish Republics and other CIS countries are analyzed. In addition, Turkish Republics’ relations with Turkey have been included in brief.
