Özet: Since the early stages of civilizations, human being always demanded more and better, and supplying all these new demands lead up to entrepreneurship. We know developments in societies effect both the economy boosts and entrepreneurship. The development at the theory of entrepreneurship which have started with the geographical discoveries of the 15th century, Renaissance and Reform, have continued with industrial revolution and technological improvements. In this study we will discuss about the historical processes of entrepreneurship and the historical processes of entrepreneurship have been discussed first at the global scale and then local scale with using methods of literature review, face to face interview and archıval research . We used the attests from Ottoman Empire archives and the datas from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mugla in this study. In this context a study about the development of entrepreneurship in Mugla have been presented. Afterwards to light the way for future with these informations, there are conclutions of the analysis, results and final comments
