Özet: The key objective of this study is to ascertain if the organizational communication of effectiveness; job satisfaction, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior vary among academic organization through exposing the relationships between organizational communication of effectiveness and job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior. For this purpose, a preliminary study was conducted on 152 academic staffs of two universities. While the job satisfaction; nature of the work, colleagues, wage, rise, managerial approach; the organizational commitment; emotional commitment, continuity commitment, normative/necessity commitment; the organizational citizenship behavior was treated in terms of its altruism, courtesy, conscientiousness, civic virtue/organizational involvement, sportsmanship dimensions. Findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between the subscales of organizational communication of effectiveness and job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior. It was also determined that organizational communication of effectiveness and job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior vary among academic organization
