Özet: This research investigates the effect of career plans of vocational school associate degree students on their motivation levels regarding gender, being private or state university, the way they entered university and the departments they study at. The sample group of the research is comprised of the vocational school students of Istanbul Arel University and Kocaeli University in the academic year 2013 - 2014. A questionnaire was administered to 1514 students which were determined by simple random sampling method. T-test and done way variance analysis one-way ANOVA were used for statistical analyses, and correlation analysis was used to measure the relationship between Career Plans and Motivation Levels. According to the validity and reliability analyses conducted for career and motivation, Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the questions about career was found to be0,798 and Cronbach Alpha value was found to be 0,742. Significant differences were found between the university they study at, their field of education, their career plans and motivation levels.
