Özet: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of nepotism on employee job satisfaction and to determine the mediating effect of procedural justice on the relationship between nepotism and job satisfaction. The effects of nepotism have been studied by numerous study however the impact on job satisfaction through procedural justice has not yet been analysed to date. By filling the gap, the current paper contributes to the management literature. Data were collected from 299 hotel employees working 3 and 4 star hotels in TRNC via questionnaires. The data were subjected to factor analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analyses by using SPSS and AMOS statistical package programmes. The research findings demonstrated that while nepotism has a negative and significant impact on job satisfaction and procedural justice, there is a positive and significant relationship between procedural justice and job satisfaction. Moreover, procedural justice is a mediator on the relationship between nepotism and job satisfaction. Conclusion part including implications and limitations with future directions were drawn by the authors
