Özet: Employee loneliness is not a new concept, but has received little attention by researchers until today. Similarly, the effects of working loneliness on organizational activities have found little review. In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of employees' perceived loneliness and work stress on their organizational commitment. Loneliness perception, emotional and social status loneliness are evaluated in the study. Organizational commitment is addressed in three dimensions: affective, continuance and normative commitment, and work stress in one dimension. Research universe was composed of administrative staffs 621 employed at different administrative units of the Rectorate of Erciyes University, but the research was conducted with 255 administrative staff. Quantitative research method was used and questionnaires were used to gather data. The data were analyzed by using correlation and regression analysis.As a result of the analyzes, it was found that emotional loneliness had an effect on affective commitment negative and normative commitment positive , and social status loneliness on affective commitment positive and normative commitment negative . Similarly, it has been observed that work stress has an effect on affective commitment negative direction and normative commitment positive as well as emotional loneliness perception. In the study, there was no significant effect of the participants on the perception of loneliness and continuity of work stress
